What is your specialty?
I specialize in cupcakes, cupcake-cakes and toffee, but I am happy to work with you on customized cakes and cookies too.
Do you do custom cupcakes or wedding cupcakes?
Yes, I do a lot of custom work. I love to create something special for your party or wedding. Let me know what you want, what type of flavors you like, and what colors you want to use. Check out my photo gallery andFacebook page for some fun ideas and inspiration!
Why does your frosting melt? I have purchased cupcakes from other places and I have not seen this!
My frostings are made with real butter and cream cheese. Butter melting point is between 82.4 - 96.8 °F. For cream cheese, it melts at an even lower temperature. So please remember this when picking up your treats, do not leave them in your hot car or they will not be pretty when you get them home. If you get a cupcake or cake that does not melt you should question what is in the frosting!
Why are your cupcakes $25/dozen and I can get a dozen for $5 or $6 at thegrocery store?
Ummm, have you ever tasted a Safeway cupcakes?? Friggin' disgusting! My cupcakes cost more because they are all hand made one at a time, I use the best ingredients, no fillers, no preservatives, no additives. I am committed to making sure you get something that is better for you, tastes great, and looks amazing. I will not scrimp on my ingredients. You may be able to find cupcakes cheaper but you will not find them better!
Why don't you open a storefront?
a) The general public stresses me out
b) It would require me to wear sensible shoes
Do you make bright colors for your frostings?
Only if you can talk me into it. Food dye in large quantities adds a chemical taste that compromises my baking. Have you ever seen a toddler with red or blue teeth after taking a bite of a store-bought cupcake? GAG!!

Why a turd pie of course! A delicious chocolate pie with Baby Ruth embellishment for a book club reading "The Help." Read it and you'll understand. :) I'm always up for weird requests!!
